The Guides

How our fund raising Guides help you!

Our Guides are designed to save the frustration and the wasted hours of time that researching potential funders can cause.   Designed as ‘gateways’ to more detailed information, you’ll quickly see which funders are likely to be a match for your project.  And once you’ve identified a likely funder, just follow the link to their website to complete an application form.

Getting the best from the Guides

The typical fundraising process has four steps.
  • First, identify the project and it’s need for funding
  • Second, identify the funding streams that match your project
  • Third, make an application
  • Fourth, manage the ongoing relationship

Having identified the first step, projects often come to a halt.  Many wonderful projects that can make a big difference never come to fruition because finding funding is not always easy – it’s a time consuming process.

You need to match a number of criteria such as:-

  • Do they cover my geographical area?
  • Do they cover my project?
  • What is the funder’s focus?
  • How to apply?
  • When to apply?

Finding potential funders is where the Guides are invaluable. They list funders by name, funding area and focus and allow you to instantly see whether or not the funder will cover your project.
